Break Up Tips

The feelings and emotions experienced during a break up can become so intense that you may feel that they could last forever and that there will be no end to the hell that is the broken heart. Firstly, it is important to remember that no one is to blame for the break up.

Many feelings occur due to the embarrassment we feel from being broken up with. First of all, know that the break up is not your fault.

The break up is no ones fault and there is nothing you could have done to prevent it. Trying to point the finger of blame will only result in creating feelings of resentment in yourself or your former partner.

The symptoms an individual experiences after a break up will vary from person to person, however rest assured, you are normal. Allow yourself to feel these emotions, however be sure you only let your anger out in an appropriate environment.

By allowing yourself to feel these emotions, you will be more able to accept them and the situation, and this will ultimately allow you to free yourself from them and move on. Accepting that we are hurting and allowing ourselves to feel it will aid in us accepting the situation and moving on faster.

A break up does not mean you will be alone forever.
